| Greetings from Canada...err, Minnesota that is. Nothing much has changed up here; it's colder than fuck and it's snowing. Got down to -44 the other night, and the highs have been running between -20 and 0 during the day. It was considerably warmer today though, it got up to 5 degrees. First time it's been above zero in a week. Other than that there's not much to report... I've just been working on school shit, learning some Godsmack tunes, and working on new Magic deck designs. Speaking of Magic, Legions is coming out next week. It's a 145 card set that is all creatures, and every one of them has some sort of ability. There are also some new abilities, which will considerably change the game as well as speed it up. It's really gonna change the gaming style... powerful shit. I also saw the demos for 8th Edition... they're going to ruin Magic (worse than they already have). The new cards look like fucking Pokemon cards... it's deeeesusting. I know that with the release of 8th, I will have totally lost whatever faith I had left in Wizards of the Coast. It's all about the money now, so fuck them; I'll continue playing with my antiques. Well, guess that's about all I really have to say. Don't know what I'm gonna do this weekend, but I figure it won't be much out of the ordinary. I'll try to update if anything does happen though... |
