| Well, it's pretty well been the same old shit around here recently. I did get my deer rifle sighed in yesterday... shot a very nice group with it at 40 yards, so it's all ready to go. Now I'm just waiting for mom to send up my winter clothes. Today wasn't bad... I played in a Magic Tournament and did ok. The day went all to hell after I got home though. Mom called and I found out that dad's been in the hospital since yesterday afternoon and that he's not doing very well. He had kidney stones blown up the other day and he had a bad reaction to the procedure. His bowels and urinary system have completely shut down, and he has gone into some sort of sickness... he's been running a fever between 101 and 104 since Friday. I just know it doesn't sound good to me, but I don't have the money to get home, or the time. I can't afford to miss class right now. This whole situation sucks... today is one of those days that I wish didn't really happen... |
