| Been pretty busy lately between classes and trying to get ready for deer season. Fortunatley though, mid term exams and assignments are over so I'm not in such a rush to get things done as I have been for the last couple of weeks. Got my deer stand build here a few days back... build it out at Brent's place in his garage. It turned out fairly nice, 8 feet tall with a 2X2 deck to sit on. It should work quite well, guess I'll find out this coming Saturday. Yesterday I went out and cut my shooting lanes in the spot I'm going to be hunting. That didn't take too long, so I scouted around a bit as well while I was out there. Found a lot of fresh tracks (some very large ones) and some fresh spoor, so the spot should work out well. Stopped by Rich's again, but he wasn't home. I may run out there later today if I feel motivated to do so. I've been pretty tired this weekend, so I doubt I'll do much of anything tonight. Other than that I've just been thinking about what to get my dad for his birthday, and coming home again. Nothing all that exciting or out of the ordinary really. That's it for today... |
