| Man it feels good to be working on the site again, or to be doing anything again because I was fuckin sick from Tuesday until yesterday (Saturday). I would have updated yesterday, but my computer is being a little bitch in need of some serious slapping. I'm about 3 error logs away from throwing this whore's get piece of shit right out of my 2nd story window into the snow. This really hasn't been a productive week... I spent the majority of it in bed, only getting up to shit and go to class. I didn't eat anything but chicken broth for 3 days. I fuckin' hate being sick, it sucks. Anyway, on to what I have accomplished this week. I took a test in my Political Science class Wednesday. I don't really know how I did on it because I can hardly remember being there. I just wanted to get the test over with and get back in bed. Hopefully I didn't write something stupid about the U.N. such as "oh yeah, it's they're the one group that does that one thing, you know, on that one planet? Earth I think they call it." I'm highly capable of writing such idiotic hogslop answers when my mind is elsewhere and I feel like shit. I really didn't do much else until Saturday, when I woke up feeling normal again... unfortunately my bed and pillow were soaked in sweat and I was freezing my ass off due to the fact that I was laying in sweat. It was quite nasty, I assure you. I was going to go shooting, but then it got windy and started snowing like a dirty motherfucker so that was out of the question. Instead I sat around here for a little while playing guitar. After that the snow let up a bit and I went out to the gun shop. I put another $15 bucks down on it and spent about 2 hours just looking at a bunch of cool rifles, shotguns, and pistols. There was this guy (the owner of the gunstore later claimed the guy isn't quite all there and looking back I would have to say I agree) who bought an M-80 and blew it up outside just to show me how loud they were. How do you buy M-80s you ask? Simple, you label them as pest control devices for farm use only so gun shops can sell them for $1.50 each. I know I'll probably wind up buying a few before I head back home for the summer. After that I went over to Brent's place and just bummed around there for the next 4 hours or so. We talked about doing some Pike fishing from his boat once the ice melts off the lakes. That will still be a while considering people are still driving on it. I know I wouldn't drive it this late in the year, but some people do. It's still about 20"-30" thick, but the quality is in question because of the warm weather we've been having (until recently... it's colder than a witch's titty outside now). I'll probably move some of my ice fishing stuff out to his garage soon... he's letting me store some of my junk out there so I don't have to haul it back and forth from IL to MN every year. He may also let me keep my Bronco out there in the summer, which would be nice. If he does that I'm going to put a set of quieter mufflers (Turbos) on it before I leave this summer, and I'll pick up a battery and windshield for it this summer and install them upon my return to MN in the fall. That way the police will have no excuses to pull me over in it aside from the fact that it's a piece of shit truck with out of state plates on it (which isn't a crime... yet, but the police do seem to frown on it anyway) Haven't done shit today aside from homework... been a boring ass day. Oh yeah, I failed to mention my checks are coming from work this week, so I'll almost have my rifle paid off... if my damned tax return check ever gets back to me I'll be able to pick it up. You know that pisses me off, if I took as long sending my money in as they did sending it back my ass would be in jail... stupid government. Anyway, enough of my senseless ranting for today. |
