April 27, 2002 (See Jason X or Die!)
Well, this update was supposed to happen yesterday but Geocities was being an uncoopertive little bitch.  Anyway, I have a few events of interest to note from the last few days.
April 25, 2002... more snow.
Well, I guess the first thing to note would be the snow... not really a big suprise, but noteworthy nonetheless.  It's still snowing out right now and it looks pretty much just like that picture out my window from Thursday.  You punks down there at home in IL get off easy with the weather... you have a year involving 4 seasons; all we have are summer and winter.

The next thing of interest is the 3 Zachs incident that happened Thursday.  I was walking to my history class and ran into Zach, the guy who sits next to me in that class.  As we were walking to class we ran into his friend Zak, who accompanied us for most of the walk.  Let me say having 2 other people who share your name walking with you is a very odd experience.  After all, how often do you even hear the name Zach?  Not too often you bastards...

The last thing I MUST talk about is
Jason X... it fucking kicks major ass!  I was pretty pissed about them not planning on showing it when I called on Wednesday so I went down there Thursday after my journal entry.  I asked them if they planned on showing it at all... I was informed that they just got the film can that morning, so they would be showing it on opening day (Yesterday... Friday, April 26th).  Needless to say I was estatic and couldn't wait to see everyone's favorite anti-hero (with the exception of good ol' Satan of course) back in action doing what he does best... hacking up anyone who gets in his way.

I went at the first show yesterday at 5 and was thrilled with what I saw... the movie was incredibly different from anything they'd done before.  It was actually an action/sci-fi/comedy/horror movie instead of just a flat out horror.  It was kind of like Aliens meets Friday the 13th.  Unfortunately there were only about 15-20 people in a theatre that would seat about 150.  It was full of action and of course, gore, and it also had some extremely funny moments.  There was one part where almost everyone in the theatre was laughing.

I went back at 9, and much to my dismay there were only 25-30 people... not good news for the big guy (Jason).  Hopefully other theatres are faring better than my own when it comes to ticket sales for this movie.

Anyway, it was quite a kickass movie (I'd give it 8/10 as a rating).  I know I'll be getting it when it's released to buy.   Go see it when it comes around or die by my wrath, for it will be great!

Well, I really don't know what the hell I'm going to be doing today... I want to shoot, but the weather is super shitty today so I probably won't do much at all.

I'm out...

My Jason X tickets... I went at 5 and 9 yesterday..
