April 9, 2002
Hey, hey, hey... it's that time again.  You know... JOURNAL TIME.  Now was that corny or what?  I don't know why the hell I just said that.  Must have been one of those compulsive urges I get from time to time.

Well, not too much has happened since my last entry.  The biggest event is that it has warmed up and winter has finally released us from its icy clutches.  That's how it works up here... it's cold and then bang; it's all over and it gets warm.  I just wish I would have went skiing at least once before it warmed up.  Oh well, I can go this coming winter... the resort opens in October or November depending on the weather.  Speaking of skiing, I talked to
Nathan and Matthew about this odd dream I had today involving skiing.  I took a 5 hour nap this afternoon (my longest since I've been up here)  and somewhere near the end (I think) I had this dream where myself and Nathan went skiing down this huge fuckin' mountain.  It was so tall the trees at the bottom looked liked little blades of grass... it was fucking tall man!  The odd thing was Nathan's uncle and grandpa were at the top talking to us... it was a strange dream.

It hasn't been a very productive day... I went to class and wound up giving my presentation on Josef Mengele.  That didn't go as well as I had planned, the paper seemed too long so I just skimmed over it... just a bad deal overall.  I'm much better on paper than speaking out loud... I'll have to post the paper sometime to let everyone see it.  Dan gave an awesome presentation on drumming... he's a cool guy.  He's a drummer and he's moving out to L.A. in May to join up with a band.  If anyone out in L.A. is reading this... if you're in a band and see this tall curly haired guy with a goatee named Dan who is a drummer... fuckin' hire him, he's awesome!

Hmm... what else have I done?  I read Matthew's site and see that he,
Andy, and Art found the monument to the Verile Bull.  'Twas a noble quest that they'd been on for a week or so.  I suggest you read it... they also found some other cool shit that I don't want to give away. Read it here! It'll be the journal entry for April 9th.  I suggest reading all of his entries; they're interesting, top notch type stuff in my opinion.

I don't have any day classes tomorrow because they're all cancelled for Student Achievment Day... so that means I'll be able to sleep in, hopefully.  The only thing I have to do is attend one presentation so I can do a single page, double spaced paper about it for my Speech Communications class... not bad for a day without class.

Other than that I've just been working on the site... making minor cosmetic changes and trying to update some info... especially about
people.

That's all for today... later
