Hello from snowy Minnesota; hell yes it's snowing... again.  I woke up this morning and it was warm, so I wore shorts.  Bad idea; it was snowing by 10am and by noon it was coming down pretty good.  The snow finally stopped arund 2:30 though and it wasn't all that cold outside, so nothing wound up sticking.
Moving into May with snow... this pic is shitty; it was really coming down hard this morning.
Hmm... what else has occured since my last entry?

Ah yes... I'm working on my very first powder horn.  Man, these things are a lot of work.  I started with a fairly smooth horn and it still took me about 3-4 hours of sanding to smooth and shine it up.  It's about half done now, and it should be finished by the weekend.  I'm looking into getting a Hawken .50 caliber muzzle loader this summer... hence the powder horn.
Brent gave me the horn, and is helping me make it... he's the one who cut the top with a router, and cut the end off with his band saw.  It should be pretty cool looking when it's finished; I'll be sure to get a pic of it up.

Ah yes... the semester is coming to a close in 2 weeks.  You sucker had better hide, I'll be back in 2 weeks!

I've already finished my writing class and gotten my portfolio back; I got an A... hell yeah!  I got back my main essay in American History yesterday.... I got a B which pretty much means I'll have a B in the class unless I do catastrophically horrible on my final.  I don't see that happening though, I got an A on the mid-term exam.

Got my finals schedule, and it's a fucking bitch... instead of getting them all done in one day I have ONE every damned day.  I hate that shit... I just want to take them and get the fuck out of here for the summer.
My apologies to dear friend Matthew, I didn't get any pictures of Solway on Monday night.  Why you ask?  I'll tell you why... I was a fucking dumbass and forgot my camera at home.  That sucked because I drove through an awesome hailstorm to get there... that would have made for some kickass pictures.  It was very odd... it was an intense storm, but it only lasted about 10 minutes.  By the time I had crossed town it was over and the skies were sunny in the West, which happened to be the direction I was going.  When I got into town though, I took a closer look around and was suprised to see a telephone booth!  They never had that in town when I lived there...  anyway, I'll be back there tomorrow night to take my Hunter's Safety exam so I'll take some pictures then.
