Well howdy, it's been pretty interesting around here the last few days.

First off,
Bryan got a new truck... well an old truck actually.  He bought Billy's old 3/4 ton Chevy/GMC 4X4 hybrid. It's been jacked up about 3 inches, has some tall muddin' tires on it, and it has a small block 400 that's been punched out and built hot.  I'm going to make a page for it, so if you check back on my cars page within the next week or so you'll see a link to it.  I really love driving it... it reminds me of driving my Bronco, but a little less refined.

Next we have work... I guess they really didn't like me raising a big stink over discrimination and such, so they took back my write ups and decided to let me have my beard... other than that it's just been the same old shit there.

I had a very good weekend.... it was the first one that I'd had off from work in a month.  Friday was a fun night... just hung around with a bunch of people and dicked off till the wee hours in the morning.  I took a bunch of pictures, so I'll upload and post some eventually.... I've really been slacking on stuff this summer, especially uploads.  The highlight of the night was spending some time with Jake and Warp, who I hadn't really hung around with in nearly two years.

I went to the drag strip on Saturday with Dad and
Spinner.... it was horribly hot, but I had a good time.  Unfortunately my car was running rather slowly due to the heat, but I still put on a decent show.  Spinner brought his video cam and shot some runs, but he left early before any of the good stuff really happened.  See, Saturday night was Street Car Chaos, where it's all heads up racing after 10pm.... Spinner left at 10pm and missed all the runs I made between then and 2am when the track closed.  I lost several runs, but I whipped some ass on a Mustang, a Ford Ranger, a Ford Focus, a Ford Lightning, and a couple other cars.  I also had a couple of very close races against an old 5.0 Mustang and an old Nova that had a "hopped up" 350 in it..  The raced that actually worried me the most was that Focus... the bastard turbocharged it and was riding my ass the whole way down the track.  If I would have lost, I couldn't have lived with myself.... losing to a Ford Focus is unacceptable.

Didn't do much sunday, slept a lot, then just back to work Monday and today... today was interesting though.  It seems that Bill has been giving
Bryan more shit lately... they filed a policed report against him today.  You can read about the whole deal with bill on Matthew's site.... things are really hitting the fan and the shit's flying now.  The cop also told us we need to cut back on the burnouts in town... people have been bitching... stupid fucking people.  At least the cop was cool about it; I guess that's a big plus.

Anyway... watched Fellowship of the Ring tonight... Bryan bought it on DVD.  Oh yes, and on the way home me and friend
William noticed something odd.  There were 5 strange cars sititng uptown by the gas station.... just not something you usually see at 11:00 at night aruond here... we didn't recognize any of them.

Oh well... later
