| Hmmm... hasn't really been much going on latey but I figured I'd make an entry nevertheless. Classes are back into full swing, so I've been in a bit of a scramble there trying not to get far behind while trying to keep myself sufficiently entertained as well. I've only been out fishing once this week, didn't do that great, but oh well. I did have one interesting class today... my IT (Industrial tech) class was suprisingly political and much to my suprise my professor shared many of the same views as I do. I think I'm really going to like that class... oh yes, and she showed me an excellent book to read for all you dissidents out there. It's called Why Do People Hate America?... ok, it's not what you're thinking. I read through a little bit of it and enjoyed it... it's about corrupt politics, and how the USA is such a pain in the world's ass. I plan on buying a copy when I find it and reading it several times. Oh yes... I've found a band to avoid. Skinny Puppy.... man do they ever suck donkey cock! I was just looking around the used CD shop down the block from my door (where I buy nearly all of my CDs cause they're only 7.99 or 8.99) and saw one of thier albums, The Process there. Well, I'd remember hearing that they were pretty good somehwere, so I took a chance and bough it. Man, it was horrible... bunch gothy techno crap. I took it back today and traded it in toward 2 excellent discs... Mercyful Fate's Return of The Vampire, and Nirvana's Bleach (which I had been wanting for quite a while) Just came back from there and have been pretty much reading for classes and playing with my photo editor. That's it, nothing exciting or special today... |
