| Sorry for the lack of an update this week... I was going to update both on Wednesday, and yesterday but I just never got around to doing it. Nothing really exciting happened this week... turned 21 on Wednesday. Been out to the Keg and Cork a couple of times for a few drinks on Wednesday and Saturday nights. The weather's been too lousy to fish, but I did go out hunting one day; didn't get anything though. Spent a lot of time out at Rich's just wasting my time, even though I probably should have been doing homework instead. I took a test in Calc on Wednesday... most of the class didn't finish, myself included. I know I probably failed it miserably; if my grade doesn't improve I'm going to withdraw from it within the next couple of weeks. I'm just a moron when it comes to this calc stuff. I'm going to change my major over to Political Science after this semester and will probably keep CS as my minor if I can pass my stupid calc. If I can't, I'm not really sure what my minor will be yet. I'm going to sell one of my rifles soon... my semi-auto Remington 30-06. I've never shot the thing, and would rather put the money into something else. I'm not sure what yet, but I got a good offer on the gun so I'm going to offload it. I'll use the money on one of four things... 1. gun, 2. Beretta, 3. Samurai, 4. Magic cards. It's pretty well a toss up between those 4, I'm sure it'll all come down to whatever is on my mind the most when I get the cash for it. Speaking of cash... I got an email from McGavin about my intake the other day... something went wrong with the fuel rail conversion, so I'm just getting my money back. I'll be using it to order a set of Eibach hipo lowering springs for my Beretta with it, and the excess will probably go into a set of drag slicks for it. Saw Brent and Cecil the other day... I guess we're gonna get together one of these weekends and sight in our rifles before deer season (which is in early November). I somehow need to get my winter clothes up here beofre then though. I'm not sure if they'll get mailed, or I'll make a special trip down to get them yet. I'd really like to come get them, that way I could get my guitar too, but I don't want to push my Samurai any more than I have to, so I doubt I'll get home before Thanksgiving. I'm really looking forward to that... should have some fun when I'm home. Well... I think that's all the blithering I have to do for now. |
