In the summer of 2004 Nathan picked up Bluey from some crazy guy for 400 bucks. It's a standard cab/bed 84 F-150 with a
carburated 300ci straight 6 with a np-435 4 speed stick in it. The body is rough, but he just got it for a play toy and the
transmission anyway. The rods knock a bit when it got wound up hard, but it seems to run well other than that. He had a
straight pipe on it, but since bought the old UltraFlo I had on my Beretta to quiet it down.
Over Semester Break of 2004/2005 Nathan swapped transmissions between his trucks, so now the 4 speed from Bluey is in
his Red F-250 and Bluey has the 5 speed from Red. It was a good swap, both trucks have benefited from it and are much better
to drive, according to Nathan.
After he moved to PA in 2005 Nathan sold Bluey to a guy in town, who in turn wound up selling it to some guy in the city so odds
are we'll not ever see it again.
