Brent and his family are basically my family up here in MN. I've known them since I was a little kid living up here in MN. I used to go fishing with Brent and my dad, and I remember he and Sara used to be out at my house all the time. Deer seasons were always times to remember though... ah, the memories from childhood are great ones! I do recall him playing more Nintendo and napping than deer hunting though; how the times have changed.
Anyhoo, now we go out fishing, shooting, or hunting quite a bit. I've also helped him chop wood and do this and that around his place cause he's always helping me out when I need it. He helped me out when my Bronco got smashed up, and countless other times when I would have been screwed without someone to give me a hand.
Brent is the guy that got me into lever action rifles, so I have to thank him for that although I think he'd be happier if I gave up all my 'punkin chuckers'. He also turned me onto the .270 Winchester as a cartridge, which has served me very well deer hunting. Thanks definetly goes out to him for that one, I bagged 4 of the seven deer that I shot in my college hunting years with that .270 he convinced me to get.
Although I definetly look forward to graduating and getting out of here I'll miss the hunting seasons with he and Tim a whole lot. Always a lot of work, but they've been the highlight of my last 4 school years up here.
