This page is dedicated to my 1994 Chevy Beretta, which I purchased in November of 1999. It's purple pearl (a rare color) with a silver and pink pinstripe down the side. It came with the 3100 SFI V-6 (160hp/185 ft/lbs) which is paired up with a 4 speed automatic the (4T60-E). It also came with the standard cloth interior(which is light gray) and an AM/FM/Cassete stereo from the factory.
I used to be into SPL competitions and had a full system in it, but got; into drag racing and pulled it for money and weight reduction. All that remains is a Panasonic DP-22 CD deck, a set of Graffitti Audio 4X6s in the front, and Coustic 6X9s in the back, both with bass blockers, the front at 600hz and the rear at 150hz.
I attended BerettaFest 2001 in Louisville KY from June 29th to July 1st in 2001(obviously); wound up having a great time and met lots of people I had talked with online at www.beretta.net
BerettaFest 2002 was ever better than 2001. I had a great time and kicked some ass at the strip!
When I started with this car it ran 16.5 in complete street form. By the of summer 2002 I had it down to 15.40 with an exhaust, intake, and weight reduction.
However things took thier toll and the trans went south on me, so it hasn't been on the road since May of 2003. I haven't even had it plated or insured since 2003 either; it's been sitting in a garage while I have debated what to do with it.
Lack of funding has kept me inactive on it, and I was unsure on what I really wanted to do. A 3100 buildup and 3400 swap were both in my mind at one time, but in the summer of 2005 I decided to take a different course with it. I bought a 4 bolt main Chevy 350 from one of my friends and I'm going to do a RWD conversion as time and money allows. Hopefully the summer of '06 will be the real takeoff point since I'll be out of college and able to dedicate more time to it since I won't be 730 miles away from where it is stored.
