My parents basically forced me into this one in August of 2004 because they didn't trust my Samurai for long distance driving. I
picked up this red 1998 Cherokee Laredo in Watseka a week before I headed back up to BSU for the fall semester. It was
definetly the fanciest thing I'd ever owned; it has power everything, a/c, cd, etc, etc. It's got a 4.0L straight 6 with a 4 speed
automatic. It is much peppier than I expected but the gas mileage wasn't really that hot. It averaged about 17mpg in the
summer, and about 13 in the winter.
I wound up getting rid of this after my dad's Mazda truck had the block crack in January of 2007. It was a decent vehicle but I
don't miss it; I just never really liked it all that much.
