| My Samurai Swampers |
Well, after talking about it for a couple of years I finally have the Super Swampers for my Samurai. Back in May (2006) I picked
up a set of aluminum 15"X8" American Racing rims from Tunis for $50 to mount a set of Swampers on. I had planned on
buying US Wheel Series 70 steel 15"X10" rims and mounting a set of TSL 33X12.50s on them, but I couldn't pass these rims
up for the price.
I decided on 33X10.50s because 8s aren't wide enough for 12.50 tires and I wanted something a little taller than the 32s I run
on it for my everyday tire. In a 33" the only things in 10.50 width were TSL Radials and Boggers, so I picked the Radials since
I figured they'd last longer and plus ride better for the times when I do run them on pavement to and from the places we go
play.
