| Well,this turned out to be a fairly easy, inexpensive, and fruitful modification that I did over semester break 2004/2005. I used two 100 watt 6" Rally Off-Road lights mounted through the hard top. The wiring was a pretty simple affair as well. I just spliced the positive and negatives together and then ran the negative to the battery, and the positives through a toggle switch, and then to an in line fuse and the battery. It only took a couple of hours to complete and the lighting is quite impressive. I've decided to add a 3rd light sometime in the future that will neccessitate pulling larger wire, but that's no biggie. Total cost was around $45 for lights, switch, etc. |
