Pulled the transmission and transfer case from my parts Samurai. Took me about 4 1/2 hours including breaks; plus I had a few problems. Had some bolts stuck real good so instead of screwing around with them I just cut the passenger side transfer case bracket off to get it out. If it hadn't been for that I would have been done a good half hour sooner. I really don't need a transfer case right now, but I figured since I was pulling the transmission I may as well yank it too seeing as you have to unbolt the driveshaft from it anyway. So now I just have to buy a rebuild kit, get someone to rebuild it, and then throw it into my 87 to get the driveline all good and solid again. With any luck that'll happen in June; I'll update this section when I swap it in.
