William's 1986 Chevy K-5 Blazer
In the summer of 2005, William picked up this '86 K-5 Blazer from some guy in Watseka. It had a weak ass 350 that barely gave
it enough power to get out of its own way. That was ok with William though since his entire plan (which was carried out with
success) was to swap the driveline of
Purple into it so he'd have a 3/4 ton K-5.

So now it's an 86 K-5 Blazer with the driveline out of a '76 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4 truck.  It has the SB400, t-350 3 speed, and the
rebuilt axles with lockers and 4.56 gears.

I bought the 4 bolt 350 that came out of it to rebuild and put into my Beretta, which you can
read about.

The pictures below are of the Blazer before anything was done to it. It had a 4 inch block lift, 33X12.5s and a 2" dual glasspack
exhaust on it when he got it, along with a CD player and speakers installed in the cab.
